RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults Logo

The RCIA, which stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process through which non-baptized men and women enter the Catholic Church. It includes several stages marked by study, prayer and rites at Mass. Participants in the RCIA are known as catechumens. They undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and Holy Eucharist. For more information about this program, please contact the Parish Office.

Welcome

As the Easter season continues, we welcome into our midst a group of believers who have steadfastly practiced their Christianity and completed their RCIA instruction. At the 8:00 p.m. Easter Vigil Mass (Note: no confessions on Saturday and no 5:30 p.m. Mass), we will welcome Denise Lutch, the newest member to the Catholic Church, through Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. We also welcome those who are received fully into the Church:

  • Kelli Ferguson
  • Evan Waniewski
  • Ryan Badu
  • Dana & Randy Nelson
